HS438 is a small infrared receiver.
For remote control and other applications requiring improved ambient light suppression.
Separate PIN diodes and preamplifier ICs are assembled on a single lead frame.
Epoxy packaging contains a special infrared filter.
The module has excellent performance even in disturbed ambient light applications and provides protection against uncontrolled output pulses
